Hi I am new to this forum, so please move this thread if I posted it wrong.
I got an huawei e220 3G modem set up on a asus eeepc 701 4g. Its working fine. Except everytime it get disconnected it gets segmentation faults or kernel panic and the computer hang itself so hard that I have to make a hard reboot. I have searched the forum, wiki and bug reports for this, even google. The only thing i found was a solved bug report from 2004 so i dont think its related.
Is it possible to make a script that kill pppd and wvdial if it gets exitcode 16?
or do you people got another solution in mind?
btw, i have reinstalled arch linux with the same problem.
