I'm trying to apply mod_rewrite for my wordpress blog, and I did, everything went alright, but I quickly found out it also affected, and broke all the links, to any of my subdomains. Any idea how to just keep it top-level? This is what I have in my lighttpd.conf:
$HTTP["host"] =~ "twilightlair\.net" {
var.wpdir = "/"
include "wp-rewrite.conf"
}
[home page] -- [code / configs]
"Once you go Arch, you must remain there for life or else Allan will track you down and break you."

My guess is you should turn the =~ into an exact match - == if i recall correctly?
I've been playing with it too, still haven't got the time though to fix it thoroughly.

well, the subdomains are fine...but the main domain doesn't work either with the '=='
EDIT: fixed, thanks

$HTTP["host"] =~ "(^|www\.)twilightlair\.net$" {
Alternately, you can just separately capture the www and redirect to the base domain.
Unless..that isn't what you wanted to do..

I took out the "\" is twilightlair\.net
[home page] -- [code / configs]
