Hi guys,
Trying to install Oracle 9i on a server (worst installer ever, i know) and this popped up
../jre/bin/i386/native_threads/java: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++-libc6.1-1.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Now that confused me, as i know of libc, and libstdc++, but nothing combined, well after a bit of googling it turns out that this is a compatability so, and on redhat (or some other distro presumably) it's installed through the compat-libstdc++-7.3-2.96.118.i386.rpm package. Now does anyone have a clue where I could pick this package up from, and adapt it to my Arch installation?

Ah well, I finally got DBD::Oracle to compile but oracle itself still won't install. This is going to be a major pain in the arse.
