BIND not working

When trying to install bind by following the wiki article when i get to the step run modprobe capabilites it says the module does not exisit, and when i do the check # zless /proc/config.gz | grep CAPABILITIES
all i get is

CONFIG_SECURITY_FILE_CAPABILITIES=y

no sign of

CONFIG_SECURITY_CAPABILITIES=y

Any ideas?

Thank you,

J.

Re: BIND not working

If they are marked as 'y' then they have been compiled in to the kernel, not as modules... Hence you can't insert the modules wink

IOW, those features are already in your kernel, you should be able to skip that step.
