can someone recommend a good usb sound card for recording? i just want to record some samples when i'm jamming around with my guitar. no serious business
the onboard card in my laptop isn't much good this is due to it's very bad shielded and creates lots of humming noises

Not to simply advertise, but I bought the behringer one because I know it works with Arch right out of the box. It's superb! Clear sound, and no lag/delay, perfect for simple recording until you want a mixer.
