Hi,
When I download, I get a very low rate of 500b/s (yes, b/s) after downloading ~1mo.
This happen :
- With eth0 or wlan0 (different ip, different macs !)
- With wget or firefox
- With any server, file, protocol
- Only with my computer (another computers download sames files with the max rate. In the same time.)
- Only on archlinux (no problems on xp)
- Only at work (no problem at home)
We have a firewall, but not rules who can limit the bandwitch or something like this, so it's could be only my archlinux (and as it's work on xp...). I tried to recompile the kernel, no changes (I build a kernel with 64G of ram's option, no changes from the default .config of arch)
Uname -a : Linux theglu 2.6.30-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Tue Jul 7 16:46:38 CEST 2009 i686 Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T9300 @ 2.50GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux
Any idea ??
