Citrix XenServer Tools on Archlinux

Afternoon all,

I'm close to rolling over a bunch of IRCd and Services servers over to Archlinux from a well known but incredibly bloated other Linux distro. The servers will be virtual, and running on Citrix XenServer and here's where my trouble starts. The idea was that I could migrate the virtual servers to and from other physical hosts but without tools, this isn't something I can do. I attempted this in the past and it wouldn't install citing:

Fatal Error: Failed to determine Linux distribution and version.

It seems to have debian, SuSE and RHEL packages with it and I don't think any of those would work properly in Arch considering all of them rely, and are compiled with init.d as the home of init scripts. Has someone hacked any of these packages and managed to get it working at all? Or even better, is there a source package around?

Re: Citrix XenServer Tools on Archlinux

Here you are: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=28591. Working with http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=16087

i'm not sure about license of xe-guest-utilities, so you need to put xe-guest-utilities-5.5.0-458.x86_64.rpm from Xentools CD to your PKGBUILD directory before running makepkg.
