Hide Interface from NetworkManager

I have two wireless interfaces on my laptop. One is an internal Intel iwl5100 and the other is a RaLink USB dongle. I like to use NetworkManager to manage my wireless connections, but I want to figure out how to keep it from managing the RaLink interface (ra0). Essentially, NetworkManager can do whatever it wants with the Intel card (wlan0), but I want to manage ra0 manually. The problem is that once I connect the RaLink USB dongle, NetworkManager immediately takes over and connects it to the same WLAN as wlan0.

Do you guys have any ideas?

Re: Hide Interface from NetworkManager

Hello Alun!

Would you like to change, why can't you do that? It works for me. I tried with D-link USB, and atheros pci chipset.

Can you see in the iwconfig/ifconfig both of them normally ?
