why the "Share Folder" canot work?

hi, all,
I want to use the  System->Adminstration->Shared Folders, it told me

Sharing services are not installed
You need to install at least either Samba or NFS in order to share your folders.

i have install the samba , why it told me i have not instll samba? what is the problem? how to fix it?

btw, is the archlinux have "system-config-samba "?

Which DE/WM do you use ? Did you come from Fedora ? Does it work in midnight commander ?

Folks have been discussing this for a while and there is a bug report.  Also, this is at least a duplicate post... why spam?  Do a search... For example,
