I once regsitered my nickname in xchat, now that I'm using #archlinux its asking me again and I don't understand how to do it. What is needed to use my nickname in xchat? my nickname is vinoman.

It depends on what IRC network you're logged on to. I'm guessing Freenode since you mention #archlinux:

For general information on nickname or channel registration services, use "/msg nickserv help" or "/msg chanserv help". For specific information on registration, use "/msg nickserv help register" or "/msg chanserv help register".

I've tried a few of these choices and my nickname is registered but I still can't figure out how to get #archlinux to recognize my nickname? why is it so difficult? what is the command in xchat to enable me to use xchat with my nickname which is vinoman?
I just went to the Ubuntu chat I it works fine. Why can't I use my vinoma nickname in #archlinux? I'll use another one, I don't really care what my nickname is if it's going to cause a problem.

You have to identify with nickserv. If you have already responded to the email, then you can simply /msg nickserv identify <yournick> <password>
Edit: give me a word on irc if you need more help (MrElendig or Mion), or drop by #freenode

Finally I did it right. Do I have to run that command everytime I use xchat for Arch?

It's not just "xchat" for "Arch". It's on the whole Freenode IRC Network.

I see. So I still have to run that command: /msg nickserv identify <yournick> <password>
every time I go in?
How come other chat rooms on freenode don't need it, like #ubuntu ?

I've not been to #archlinux before, but chances are they require registered nicks in order to reduce spam from bots (which don't register).
If you're using X-Chat you can edit the server connection settings to automatically send your nickserv password upon connection. You won't have to run the command manually every time you connect, then.

You can use your nickserv password as the server password, and it will automagically identify you when you connect to freenode.

#archlinux is +R due to some issues with unwanted elements (spammers and so on). #ubuntu uses several anti-flood bots and default +b with excemtions, redirect to #ubuntu-unregged and other messurements instead.
