error occur when pacman -S

 pacman -S frozen-bubble
error: cannot resolve dependencies for "frozen-bubble":
       "sdl_perl-compat" is not in the package set

pacman -S bittorrent
error: cannot resolve dependencies for "bittorrent":
       "wxpython" is not in the package set

hello...how to solve problems like these...

when u doing 'pacman -Syu', which repositories do u get?

does it mean that i must remove the newer version of above pkgs?

ok, I'm kinda confused.

First off, edit /etc/pacman.conf and uncomment some sections. (i personally have them all uncommented.

Second off, those "newer" packages - hw did you get those?  Are they built yourself or what?
