So currently 55 out of 86 Arch mirrors are out of sync, making upgrading or installing Arch a real pain.
This is a very serious problem, yet there is no information or explanation as to what's happening. How about posting some news on the website front page? With the recent release of the 2009.08 image, the mirrors are going to be in demand, and some of the demand will be new users who need to be informed!
Cheers, Renners

That's my point, the info shouldn't be buried in the forums, there is problem and this problem should be announced, along with whatever is being done to resolve it!

That really should be in the latest news. When you collectively bork something on such a scale, it just looks bad to say nothing and hope nobody notices.
Also, 100% obsolete, WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ![]()
Or spin it the other way with a new tag line:
Arch Linux: So bleeding edge that the packages just can't keep up.
