vodafone-mccd-fedora pushing alternate processor cores to 100%

Vodafone-mccd-fedora, installed from AUR, connects & functions just fine with my USB 3G modem.  Something is hammering the CPU while I'm connected, however, and top suggests /usr/bin/twistd is the culprit.  Every so often, i.e. a couple of times a minute, the core running at 100% is switching, at least according to the results I'm seeing via conky with ${cpu cpu1} etc.  This is on an Acer Aspire 7730, with an Intel Core 2 Duo.  Any idea what's going on?  As I say, I can function OK with this, but it's hardly efficient when on battery, nor pleasant when the computer's on my lap!

Welcome to the forum, owain!

Did you try to install it manually ? How many ram/swap do you use ? Don't you use other hard application near this ?
