[SOLVED]netcfg with 802.11n

Hi,
I have my router set in mixed mode (N and G), and my EEE PC connects to it using G mode, but I would like it to connect in N mode. I know how to do it manually, but how to do it using network profiles?

Re: [SOLVED]netcfg with 802.11n

OK, problem seems solved. To manually use 802.11n use iwpriv (iwpriv ra0 WirelessMode=6).

So I used tweak in network profiles, adding this line:

PRE_UP="iwpriv ra0 WirelessMode=6"

and now I have 802.11n.

If you read what the guy actually wrote, you wouldn't have asked this question.

Re: [SOLVED]netcfg with 802.11n

I have just tried "iwpriv ra0 WirelessMode=6", but i get "Invalid command : WirelessMode=6"

Any idea what could be the problem?

Here is my iwpriv output:

# iwpriv
