Wine package no longer being maintained?

Subject really says it all. Wine is now two releases behind.

Re: Wine package no longer being maintained?

As you're new here, the quick answer is that it's flagged out-of-date so one of the devs will update it when they have sufficient time and interest. If you need it in a hurry, build it yourself - all details on Arch package building are in the wiki.

Thanks for the replies.

Was more of a "is wine being ditched as an official package?" rather than "zomg need update". I just saw that the latest Wine version  hit the repos, so all is well smile

No of course not. If it was "ditched" it wouldn't be left in the extra repo.

Re: Wine package no longer being maintained?

It can fall a bit behind at times, but it's far from being dropped.  If you want a wine package that's updated a bit quicker than what's typically offered, this is the location the bin32-wine from AUR pulls its package from.
