[SOLVED] Internet over Bluetooth using my phone?

Hey guys,

I'm trying to figure out how to connect to the internet with my phone through Bluetooth. Now, I am not entirely sure how this works, since what I did in Windows was to install some drivers that was included with the phone and it worked without much bother - I simply had to turn on Internet Connection Sharing over Bluetooth on my phone, and I'd automatically get an IP on my computer.

Now, I want to do the same here on Linux, so I tried pairing my phone with my computer, and then attempting to dial up with help from blueman, but with no luck - I simply couldn't find a menu for it in it

The odd thing is that I recently paired one of my friends phones... and after right-clicking on his phone in Blueman, I can easily see "Serial Ports > Dialup Serivce", which I assume would be the thing I'm looking for, but it's simply not there with my own phone.

The phone in question is a HTC S740 - I'd really like to have this working through my phone instead of going out to buy a dialup-over-HSDPA USB modem.

I seem to have figured it out - I didn't know it was called "PAN" - I simply wrote 'pand --connect <MAC>' the MAC being my phone's MAC address. Then I could proceed to use my DHCP client on the interface bnep0

Hope this helps anyone else looking for help with this.

As a note, there's a blueman interface to PAN as well, which you may want to check out.
