I entered a password incorrectly using
mysqladmin -u root password 'password
'
Now I can't get into mysql and I can't re-issue the mysqladmin comment because it won't allow me to connect to the database. What can I do to get access to the database and change my root password?
this is the error I get when trying to run mysql
[root]# mysql
ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)
