Is there any way I get enable packet injection for my bcm4318 wireless card, running the b43 driver?
I've tested it with aircrack-ng, but it doesn't seem to work. I've also seen a lot of talk about patches to enable injection, but also talk that injection is enabled by default now.
Thanks,

aircrack-ng injection works fine for me with 4318, no patching required. Atsutane is referring to fragmentation attacks, which do require a patched mac80211.

tomk, can you tell me what your doing?
Im bringing my interface down, putting her into monitor mode, then bringing her back up again. I then use " aireplay-ng -9 wlan0", and don't get "injection is working".

Ooh, nevermind! If I use "airmon-ng start wlan0", that creates another device called mon0, which when used in the aireplay line, allows packet injection. Sorry, something I overlooked. Thanks anyways.
