netcfg wired dhcp issue

CONNECTION="ethernet-iproute"
DESCRIPTION="A basic dhcp ethernet connection using iproute"
INTERFACE="eth1"
IP="dhcp"
DHCP_TIMEOUT=30
DHCLIENT=no

I can connect fine at my home, however at my mothers this always fails.  I have even tried static and it still fails.  I have her on one of those Linksys Powerline setups for right now and it works on her windows based laptop.

I am running latest Arch with DWM 5.6

Re: netcfg wired dhcp issue

Have you tried to do this manually, with out netcfg?
If so what is the result of your attempt, where does the attempt fail? As many details as posible would be appreciated

Re: netcfg wired dhcp issue

Perhaps try dhclient instead of dhcpcd?
