Slow network connection... Stumped.

I have two Arch computers connected to the same AP. My laptop with an ipw3945 set has no network issue and net speed tests around 17 Mbps. However, my desktop which uses a Linksys wusb54g ver 4 only speed tests to about .3 Mbps. I've declared the hostname in rc.conf and etc/hosts, made sure my hosts.allow and .deny are straight,. ifconfig doesn't show any dropped packets or errors for the connection. The signal is strong. What else could it possibly be?

You could try disabling ipv6 (if you haven't already):

Arch + dwm   •   Mercurial repos  •   Surfraw

I've done that as well. Should have mentioned that in previous post. Sorry. If someone could point me in the right direction like what tool to use for diagnosis or what logs to check that would be awesome.
