Automatically Connect to Internet in Best Possible Way - No Config

Is there a program that will automatically connect to the internet at startup, with no ESSID configuration?

I'm looking to make a Larch live CD, so I'd like to make it easy for anyone to use it.

wicd has a pretty straightforward interface. I would suggest to include that. smile

i would be lucky about a implementation like there is in Gentoo sad there you can just use wpa_supplicant and wireless-tools over the /etc/conf.d/net but there is nothing smiliar in Arch (especially when you use WPA)

but WICD is a nice solution. You can install networkmanager too and a GUI Frontend like networkmanager-plasmoid (for KDE) or nm-applet (for GNOME)
