Hi All. I have little suggestion concerning http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Vsftpd . It's all about: "After that, append 'vsftpd: ALL' to your /etc/hosts.allow file. " If you configure VSFTPD Server with XINETD method it's difficult to find out that adding "vsftpd: ALL" to /etc/hosts.allow file refers also to this method. I thought that I have to add "vsftpd: ALL" only using " Without xinetd (simpler)" method so I was unable to connect to a server. My sugestion is to add info about adding vsftpd: ALL' to /etc/hosts.allow file in XINETD method. Can someone confirm that issue?

Yes, you will need to add an entry to hosts.allow if you're using the xinetd method to serve the daemon.
Being that it's in the wiki, you can fix it yourself
