MORE network failure problems

Well I thought i had fixed my problem by putting hal in the top of the daemons list in rc.conf. I rebooted to windows to do something in there. Rebooted to go back into arch and mind you the network was working great for the past few days without issue and without changing any configurations. Now it fails and i try to start dhcpcd and i get:

"start: interface not found or valid"

It seems valid. The lights on the port in the back of the computer are lit up and the light flashes on the router. I have an asus a8n-sli deluxe motherboard that has a gigabit lan port (eth0), and a regular 10/100 port (eth1). I am using eth1.

This seems to ONLY happen when i reboot to windows, do some work for about a half hour then reboot back to arch.

Re: MORE network failure problems

I shutdown my computer before I went out today. Just came back now and booted up, network started fine. Has to be something with my router and/or windows 7.
