dhclient

Hay
I'm new user of archlinuch.
I try to configure my system to used with my serwer dns & dhcp
in arch prefered dhcp client is dhcpd, bu I must to have dhcplient.
You ask why, its simply, when i used dhclient in gentoo & ubuntu i simply put 2 lines

/etc/dhcp3/dhclient.conf
supersede domain-name "teamquest.lok";
prepend domain-name-servers 10.0.0.100;

In dhcpd I try to configure, but it dosent working.

When I try replace dhcpd by dhclient I figure I dont have a dhclient.conf on my /etc.

Thx for yours advice and sory for my english smile

Re: dhclient

you could also check to see if your router has built in dns software as a another option.  a lot of them do anymore.
