Problems with Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG

I'm using an Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG card to connect to wifi. But recently it has stopped working, the card's now unable to find any networks. I'm using the ipw2200 drivers. I have tried to downgrade a lot of things but it hasn't worked. Does anyone have any ideas to what the problem might be?

You could try booting from an Arch CD/USB stick and test from there.

Is this an Arch Linux issue or does this persist through other OSes like windows?

I'm only running arch. But to test with a live cd sounds like a good idea (don't know why I didn't think of that before). Coming back to you when I've done that.
