1 of two wifi routers not working on eeepc 1005ha

Hi I have a problem with wifi :
lspci:

01:00.0 Ethernet controller: Attansic Technology Corp. Atheros AR8132 / L1c Gigabit Ethernet Adapter (rev c0)

uname -a:

Linux eee-pc 2.6.32-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Thu Jan 7 22:19:56 UTC 2010 i686 Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU N270 @ 1.60GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux

I have two routers with two different internet providers (1 home, 1 my dad's work internet)
I can successfully connect to the home router but I can't connect to the work router
I'm using wicd, but manually connecting with iwconfig and dhcpcd failed too (time out),
dmesg when trying to connect to work router :

atl1c 0000:01:00.0: irq 28 for MSI/MSI-X
ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): eth0: link is not ready
ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): wlan0: link is not ready

I remember being able to connect to this router some time before, it might be broken because of recent kernel upgrade wich also bumped up the signal that got to my room from 10% to 50% (:D)
The above is the only output from dmesg, and I can successfully connect to this router(work) from another xp notebook.
The other router(home) works perfectly.
dmesg output for working router:

atl1c 0000:01:00.0: irq 28 for MSI/MSI-X
ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): eth0: link is not ready
ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): wlan0: link is not ready
wlan0: direct probe to AP 00:02:cf:6b:8e:c4 (try 1)
wlan0: deauthenticating from 00:02:cf:6b:8e:c4 by local choice (reason=3)
wlan0: direct probe to AP 00:02:cf:6b:8e:c4 (try 1)
wlan0: direct probe responded
wlan0: authenticate with AP 00:02:cf:6b:8e:c4 (try 1)
wlan0: authenticated
wlan0: associate with AP 00:02:cf:6b:8e:c4 (try 1)
wlan0: RX AssocResp from 00:02:cf:6b:8e:c4 (capab=0x431 status=0 aid=2)
wlan0: associated
ADDRCONF(NETDEV_CHANGE): wlan0: link becomes ready

I can see the same first 3 lines are outputted in both, so, where can I get more info?
I discovered it only works on encrypted networks if I configure the working router to unsecured it stops to work
and dhcpcd doesn't work (time out)
