dhcpd startup fails on: no ipv6 routers found

I am trying to start dhcpd so that I can do a PXE boot of my old laptop.

Followed the instructions on the PXE wiki page, but they get vague about dhcpd setup.

Do I need to add ipv6 options to dhcpd.conf?

Why am I getting "no ipv6 routers found"?  I am using a new modem/router from Bell so I would think it is ipv6 compliant.

Last night tried to apply a patch to dhcp source so that it only uses ipv4 but no luck, I think the patch is outdated.

Try with dhclient instead. dhcpcd can be temperamental depending on the card.

Please don't cross post. I'll close this one because I misunderstood the question.
