Connect to a Windows 7 Home Network ?

Building a Network in Windows 7 is just a matter of some clicks and it works with my several Windows machines.. But how can I connect my Arch PC to this Network? I found that I should be trying Samba for this, but it looks very complicated and obviously involves changing registry entries on windows and stuff.
Is there no easy way?

Don't know about your Windows, but simply install Samba, fire up the daemon, open the FM of your choice and browse the network. If one is there, you will find it.

Set your smb.conf properly and windows should see your arch share in network neighbourhood.
