<NetworkManager> nm-applet fails to start as normal user in XFCE

Hello,

I'm trying Arch+XFCE and everything is good, except for the networking applet. I'm using my Acer Aspire One. nm-applet is active in XFCE session autostart programs. It never starts. If I try to run it in the console, I get this:

** (nm-applet:1837): WARNING **: <WARN>  request_name(): Could not acquire the NetworkManagerUserSettings service.
  Error: (9) Connection ":1.12" is not allowed to own the service "org.freedesktop.NetworkManagerUserSettings" due to security policies in the configuration file

I need to execute sudo nm-applet every time to get connected... How could I make it work as a normal user? Thanks for any help...:D

be sure you have in .xinitrc

exec ck-launch-session wm

Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.

Re: <NetworkManager> nm-applet fails to start as normal user in XFCE

The way i sorted this problem out was to not have the applet autostarting.Then once logged in i ran sudo nm-applet connected to my network and ticked the check boxes auto connect and allow all users.Then the next time i logged in had no problems or prompts for passwords.I can now autostart the applet.
