Hi I'm new to Fluxbox and I was wondering if anyone could help me get my wicd manager into the system tray. It was showing up when I was using kde, but it disappeared when I switched over to Fluxbox.

What does your setup look like? I presume you start the wicd daemon in rc.conf and the wicd-client in .xinitrc or some fluxbox autostart file.
Do any other programs appear in the system tray?!

I think the wicd-icon is in a "notification area" and the fluxbox panel doesn't have that...

Add the following to /home/<user>/.fluxbox/startup
wicd-client &
