wicd missing from fluxbox system tray

Hi I'm new to Fluxbox and I was wondering if anyone could help me get my wicd manager into the system tray. It was showing up when I was using kde, but it disappeared when I switched over to Fluxbox.

Re: wicd missing from fluxbox system tray

Hi.
What does your setup look like? I presume you start the wicd daemon in rc.conf and the wicd-client in .xinitrc or some fluxbox autostart file.
Do any other programs appear in the system tray?!

He who says A doesn't have to say B. He can also recognize that A was false.

Re: wicd missing from fluxbox system tray

I think the wicd-icon is in a "notification area" and the fluxbox panel doesn't have that...
