In most files where a reference to location is required GB or gb is used for us in Great Britain.
In some other places we are referred to as UK for the United Kingdom, but I feel sure UK is for the Ukraine.
In the rc.conf file...
LOCALE="en_GB.UTF-8"
KEYMAP="uk"
I find both GB and uk.
In 10-keymap.fdi I change the us to gb while installing.
Does anyone know what the United Kingdom or Great Britain is supposed to be?
A sort of free interchangeability appears to be going on, is there a proper authority on this?
Does the case matter, is GB and gb the very same thing?
I am starting to wonder what country I am living in...;)
Thanks
Clive

UA = ISO country code for Ukraine
UK = ISO language code for Ukrainian
Locale.UK = en_GB
I live in England, speak and spell in British English and have a keyboard with a £ above the 3. (Found this earlier thread too: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=25162.)
