Before post my problem i'm try another distro (ubuntu) and my net work's fine.
Back to arch (for me, it's better) i make some modifications in /etc/hotplug/blacklist adding shcphp because hotplug fail to load this.
I have a D-Link DSL500G (admin ip 10.1.1.1) and configure my eth0 to 10.1.1.5 mask 255.255.255.0 and broadcast 10.1.1.255
My module is sis900 and are loaded.
But i can't connect. Ping 10.1.1.1 and works fine. Ping -c 3 ftp.archlinux.org after some seconds fail.
Where is the error ?

ok, I am assuming the D-Link is a router... if you can ping the router, but can't get through it... and you're on a static IP... do you have your route setup... you need a default for static IP...

Yes, my modem is a router

yes again, i can ping the router and i defined a static ip because network don't start if is configured to dhcp.
But how ubuntu can connect with the same config ? Sorry, i don't understand what you say with "do you have your route setup... you need a default for static IP."
A friend will translate for me... :oops:

in rc.conf:
gateway="default gw 192.168.1.1"
ROUTES=(gateway)
or in a console:
# route add default gw 192.168.1.1 netmask 0.0.0.0 dev eth0
no this needs to be adapted to your setup, so I think you want 10.1.1.1 as your gateway

i forgot to mention: my gateway already configured to 10.1.1.1

the 10.0.0.0 private network is as a default defined as a class A network, with a mask of 255.0.0.0
(That said it can of course be configured any way you want.)
Try a class A mask rather than a class C one and let us know what happens.

Are you sure you did everything here:
http://wiki2.archlinux.org/index.php/St … and%20DHCP
?
Try running hwd - search forums = it will detect the necessary modules [it did for me, as I didn't know I had to manually load (I don't use hotplug) "uhci_hcd"]
