Page only loads after a multiple refresh attempts. W000t?

Hello there.

I have recently noticed that I have to refresh a random page a couple of times before I can see it. This does happen with nearly every page. This behavour hasn't been noticed with pages like gmail.com (yet).
I thought recent update core/dhcpcd 5.2.1-1 -> 5.2.2-1 which I perform today will fix this but it didn't. At first I thought it might be the router (linksys wrt54gl v1.1 with tomato 1.2.7 firmware) issue but it's not. I've booted linux-gamers live usb which is arch based and there internet works like it should. What is happening? Is my wicd issue? I use wicd-client. Here are some basic settings:
wicd1.jpg
wicd2.jpg
wicd3.jpg
wicd4.jpg

What is the deal with this? I have no idea why this is happening. It happenes with firefox, chromium, firefox (all browsers I have installed):
ff.jpg

And the weirdest thig is that sometimes it only loads the page partially. Without css images or any desigh at all, just tex. How can I research what's going on? something with dns?

My first guess would be drivers.  Some old drivers for one of my network cards would lose connectivity because the driver was inconsistent.  If you found an arch version that works you may want to check which kernel version it uses as that is most likely what determines the version of network card driver.

This only happens on laptop with broadcom lan card (untill recently) I am constantly on the skype. But web pages and msn protocl, ssh, is loosing connecetivity. I have to try to connect to my remote server multiple times before it ask me for a key.  My card is: 03:00.0 Ethernet controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4401-B0 100Base-TX (rev 02) till now I didn't need any drivers for my LAN card. I have kernel: 2.6.33.2-1 It worked before on every possible distribution. I'm not sure though if it's the kernel to blame...

You say you never needed to install any drivers for your wireless card to work? I find that quite odd. I also have a Broadcom wireless card in my notebook and I managed to make it work using the following Wiki: [wiki]]http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Broadcom_BCM4312[/wiki], Although your specific model isn't listed as supported you could try it anyway.

It's based on a driver which can be found in the AUR here: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=19514. If that doesn't work you could try the b43 driver which in the repos as far as I know.

Ahh, well it wasn't clear from your post if you ask me. Indeed strange problem then. But is there any particular output from dmesg when this happens? It might be a stupid question, but is your system fully updated?

You could also try to connect manually or simply using the network daemon included in Arch, it has never given me any problems. Wicd has given me issues from time to time which is why I stopped using it.

My computer is updated. I stopped wicd deamon and run dhcpcd and and must say not only that pages starts emediatly, response time is quite fast.... So indeed wicd is the couse of all this. The qustion is why?
