Ntlmaps

I have arch running in a ms virtual pc at work and need to get ntlmaps working before i can use proxy authentication to get pacman synced and working.

To do this i need python.

Problem being if i download python package and use pacman -S python.tar.gz and install python that way, then ntlmaps won't install correctly.

Anyone able to shed light on how to get these 2 installed WITHOUT having direct internet access to begin with.

Re: Ntlmaps

How are you trying to install ntlmaps and what happens when you try that is incorrect ?

And as an alternative, you could install Python and ntlmaps on the Virtual Server host, and point your Arch VM at that.  I've run ntlmaps on Windows, and it works fine.
