Network question

Whats the simplest method of getting 1 desktop and 1 laptop running Arch and 1 laptop running Ubuntu to talk to each other?  All three share the same wireless router.  I've tried reading a couple of wiki's and I can't seem to understand them.  The sneaker trans are getting old... as am I.

Also "talk to each other" is a tad vague. What exactly do you want to do?
