[Solved] Thunar not working with video thumbnails (and PNGs/GIFs)

Hi all,

I've done a search and tried the solution therein (yaourt ffmpegthumbnailer, reinstall thunar-thumbnailer, issue "/usr/lib/thunar-vfs-update-thumbnailers-cache-1" after update/upgrade, deleting ~/.thumbnails) and nothing seems work.

No thumbnails show for video files and they don't show for PNGs or GIFs, either. Is there any fix to this "problem"?

P.S. I'm using Openbox (and Thunar ofc).

I've also use Thunar with Openbox and Thunar is generating video/picture thumbnail just fine here.

It must be something on my end, then.. but I have no idea what.

Edit: using     ffmpegthumbnailer -i [videofile].avi -o [thumbnail].png   works just fine. No errors.

Ok, for some unknown reason I didn't own ~/.cache; root did. After changing the owner all thumbnails seem to show (PNG, GIF, and video files).
