Hi!! I have this device i want to connect, with the module of the kernel it is detected but then with wicd and knetowrkmanager it keeps validating but never connects. I have checked wpa_supplicant:
network={
ssid="Wifi"
key_mgmt=WPA-PSK
psk="key"
#psk=key
proto=WPA2
}
Thanks for your help.

Yes, i have used netcfg but still i cant connect. I have no idea if it is connected to the access point, but i cant get an ip, or enter to the configuration of the router. The router is using the N connection, if this is the problem, i will have to continue using windows. If someone have an idea i would be very pleased, thanks

Maybe this can help someone else, here's what i did to solve the problem:
I was using kde so i was trying to connect using the network manager applet, but for some reason that i can't explain, the applet couldn't connect with the router. So first i removed the applet and then installed wicd, with this programa everything worked like a charm hope this help
