Hello all

Re: [SOLVED] Clock losing time

If the clock in BIOS is losing time, it sounds like the CMOS battery on your mainboard is on it's way out.

Battery type: CR 2032

Re: [SOLVED] Clock losing time

Yes I was thinking it may be the battery, although the machine is only three years old.  I think I will replace it anyway see what happens.

Hi karol

I am not at the machine at the minute but will give it a go later.  Are there any issues with removing this?  I am always cautious when removing things.

None that I know of. It's also suggested in the wiki.

I'm doing that as well after I fool around with other OSs and nothing bad happened so far that I know of.
