[solved] swaped partitions :(

Hi,

I made a fresh install and for the first time I used LUKS as described in the wiki.

But I didn't pay enough attention. I accidentaly used my big partition for sawp and the small one for /home sad

Is there an easy way to correct this?

stupid greetings

Reformat 'em, then change the entries in fstab. Just boot up into whatever live environment you want and do it from there.

Re: [solved] swaped partitions :(

you can use the Arch installation media -- either a CD or a USB key that you might already created to install Arch. To get a GUI, try GParted Live or Parted Magic

Re: [solved] swaped partitions :(

So, now I formated the partitions and also created new encryption with

cryptsetup -c aes-xts-plain -y -s 512 luksFormat /dev/sda3
Enter passphrase: mypassword
Verify passphrase: mypassword

But now the mapper seems to be wrong. Is there a way to change these?

Re: [solved] swaped partitions :(

Ok,

I used the wrong order. I first had to encrypt and the reformat.
