freenx, no shadow sessions available

Hi All!

I have a problem with freenx instalation, i could easily start new (gnome or kde) session, but cant attach to existing one. Eg login in gdm locally and attach to this session later remotely.  There is no errors in nxserver.log, session just not shown in list of available sessions.

Any advise ?

Thanks

Re: freenx, no shadow sessions available

I have noticed the same thing. If I start a freenx session from a machine though I am able to connect to that session.

Re: freenx, no shadow sessions available

It's been answered https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=104488

more directly:

You need to follow the instructions here and create the nxshadowacl in /opt/NX/bin http://openfacts2.berlios.de/wikien/ind … owtoShadow

then you need to download and apply the diff file from here to nxserver in /opt/NX/bin http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~freenx-tea … evision/86

Then it should work
