Hi all. As @Progdan said I am new (temporary) maintainer of kde-snapshots. For some time I will deliver to you fresh snapshots of KDE.It is not a easy task almost
always there are some nasty bugs at compile time.Sometimes there is necesery to wait until kde guys fix them. I decided to do a snapshot twice a month,
sometimes faster it serious bugs occur.Unfortunatelly also it may occur that we have to wait longer, all may happen.
Also I decided to:
-drop any support for i686 arch - I dont have much time. So only x86_64 version.
-I must work on with some packages so no kdegames, kdesdk, kdewebdev for now ;fix that later
-build as "release" so no debug -> I think that entire kde have enough unfixed issues (plasma >1500, dolphin >400 etc.) also packages are weightless and should work faster
-added little tool by Mladen Pejakovic that allows as to swich from x11 to raster graphics engine in system settings
(pacman -S kcm-qt-graphicssystem if you have kde-snapshots-extra as first repo in pacman.conf)
and there was a need to create new,old version of some package, that are necessery to install: kwebkitpart-git dbusmenu-qt-gt, gluon-git, qhull, exiv2-0.21 poppler 0.18 poppler-qt 0.18
you found them in kde-snapshots-extra
!!!This night it will be ready for download.
I need to warn you that this is my first snapshot. Hope it will work for you, because I use a lot of experimental things like x.org-git mesa-git , kernel-ck.
However is should work.....Give me some feedback.
cheers

Nice Zolnierz, I'll try upgrading from extra's KDE to kde-snapshot's one, so if any packaging bug occurs, I'll post here the whole output.
Good luck !!
And @ProgDan: Thank you again for this repo, it was really nice to have it!

It is done. Check it out.
Please install what is in the kde-snapshots-extra repo (few files)

Zolnierz, check this out:
"resolving dependencies...
warning: cannot resolve "ktorrent-git", a dependency of "kdenetwork-kget"
:: The following package cannot be upgraded due to unresolvable dependencies:
kdenetwork-kget"
Offline
I will make ktorrent-git on days just skip this package....
aslo check again kde-snapshots-extra for poppler poppler-qt I forgot to add them.

And libdbusmenu-qt-git needs to provide libdbusmenu (and a fake pkgver), since I got this error:
"error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: appmenu-qt: requires libdbusmenu-qt>=0.7.0"

Try now.

Oh yes, great ! No package issues, upgrading now.
----
ΕDIT: I got these
kdesupport-phonon doesn't replace phonon (i got conflict)
kdeedu-libkdeedu doesn't replace libkdeedu (the same ^)
kdebase-konqueror is built *with* plugins so it conflict with extra's konqueror-plugins and (now I see) and kdebase-keditbookmarks
kdeartwork-wallpapers doesn't replace kde-wallpapers (got conflict)
kdesupport-prison doesn't replace prison (got conflict)
kdegames-pat doesn't replace kdegames-kpatience
kdelibs conflicts with applications.menu grom gnome-menus(?)
I hope that helps you !
----
EDIT2: I uninstalled the packages manually and installed the new ones, and Dolphin won't start
dolphin: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libdolphinprivate.so.4: undefined symbol: _ZN22KVersionControlPlugin216staticMetaObjectE

It look like old dplphin is tryin to run in new envairoment. You should remove packages that were dependences of kde 4.7.2. If you removed them try istall all packages with the pacman -f parameter (pacman -Sf kde-snapshots) Also you need to enable Arch linux testings repository in /etc/pacman.conf and update your system.
Do you install packages from kde-snapshots-extra ? (exspacialy kwebkitpart-git but you must install all)

There is no pdf support in okular now. Did you forget a configure flag?

Same here.
I've noticed that after upgrading, poppler, poppler-glib and poppler-qt are now installed from kde-snapshots-extra, whereas poppler-data is still installed from extra. Maybe there's some kind of compatibility issue there?
PS: I also had to install libxres from extra (which wasn't installed before) to make krunner work, so it should probably be added as dependency of kdebase-workspace.

I like the new Dolphin, is a lot faster.
Excuse my poor English.

@ sas thanks for notice that indeed okular cannot read pdf files also I will fix libxres dependency. Tomorrow I will compile and upload updated packages.
@ agapito You can get it even faster.Install kcm-qt-graphicssystem form kde-snapshots-extra and in system settings appear icon "QT graphics system" and there switch from x11 to raster.

Ok should works now.

I still have no luck with okular
"cannot find a plugin which is able to handle the document being passed"
edit: I think the package is missing "okularGenerator_poppler.so"
