Hi all.
The integrated microphone of my IBM T60 doesn't work. If I open KMix I can see volume bar of microphone and if I raise up it I hear a boo, so I think that Arch Linux recognize it. How can I solve it?

do a alsamixer -V capture and enable capture there.

you should unmute mic capture here
Offline
you have to press space after you selected it
if it is muted try pressing m as well
How can I do that? If I push arrow-up button it does not change.

When I give the command sudo pacman -R pulse and the command sudo pacman -R pulseaudio it says errore: 'pulse': target not found and errore: 'pulseaudio': target not found. So I think that it is not installed.

that's right, it's not installed
when i get home i will check my config and see what is different ok?
if it is integrated, are you absolutely sure it's functioning?

i suppose it's because i have an external mic.
btw, i can't use the mic with skype, i didn't try too much because i use google talk instead
Nothing. Anyway you have "Internal Mic" column and I don't Maybe this is the problem.
NB: I'm using Skype to check the Mic and I see this in in the select box.
