Same here! cool  Do you keep up with the latest development version from the Mercurial repository (wmii-hg) too?

I use to, it broke once and the main repo caught up at that point so I switched and have yet to go back. I should.
you the same Sunaku WMii/Rumai? Im guessing yes cause same avatar on github.
I used it and loved it but never took the time to pickup on ruby, It made alot shit that pisses me off about wmii so much better.
I should give it a go again.

Yup that's me.  And yes, my wmii config does solve a lot of (my) annoyances found in the bare wmii.  I would be delighted if you gave it another try... let me know if you have any problems or questions. smile  Cheers!

The dock in the bottom is Docky? Are you using also a globalmenu?

The dock is Avant Window Navigator. And yeah, I'm using gnome-globalmenu-xfce4. Hopefully, I'll have it working with qt apps too soon enough. smile

I like! I should be less lazy, and will pick thru your config. tongue
I cant for the life of me get those unicode char's to ever work prolly my font choice. but you also have applets.
Guess i do need to try and get w/it an learn some ruby and go back to using wmii/rumai
first time i've heard of Zathura I've been using apvlv
very nice setup.

The "applets" on the right side of the statusbar are just files in wmii's IXP (9P2000) filesystem under the "/rbar" folder.  You can create, read, write to them like plain text files, but they do follow a certain format (the wmii PDF guide has more information).

The Unicode pictograms used in my statusbar applets only work with the DejaVu fonts (particularly, "Sans 9" is shown in my screenshots) on my system.  Anything else garbles them horribly, as you've experienced firsthand.

You don't really need to know a lot of Ruby to use my config.  You can get by with very little knowledge (I presume) because a lot of the work is already done.  You just have to pick and choose what functionality you want in your setup (see my setup file for example).

Zathura is fast and it remembers the last page I looked at when I re-open a PDF, but not being able to bind the backspace key to go to previous page is really annoying.

Scott Fial, the creator of Tamsyn, said he would work on line drawing characters back in February.  You could e-mail him personally (I have in the past, and got a reply!) asking him to add those currently-unsupported characters to his font.

Do you mean in the panel? It's bmpanel, really light and easy to customize through a simple config file and a handful of PNG files for backgrounds.

Other than that the other apps in my screenshot are
-conky is at the top
-archey for system info
-ncmpcpp playing music from mpd
-and scrot taking the picture smile

small quibble but you shouldn't be executing yaourt with sudo. Or at any rate, not suggesting it to others if that's how you roll.
