My plasma theme is produkt, this is a stable version of my desktop after a lot of experimentations (docks and so on) I conclued that taskbar is the best for multiple tasks and apps.

There's a wicd-kde in the AUR. It'll look better than wicd-gtk

Thanks for the heads up. I migrated from XFCE to KDE a little while ago, so my system is still full of GTK apps smile

Re: KDE/Plasma Screenshots

KDE 4.7.1 (recently set up)

clean:

with a couple of windows:
ae4505152001967.jpg

Who needs widgets when you have everything on the panel?

Icons: Fekete
Style: qtcurve
Browser: Opera in tiling mode, skin Omelion Linux
Desktop theme: Oxygen
Window decoration: Domino
Desktop Effects on with Xrender (I find it quite stable)
Wallpaper, kdm login screen, ksplash all from the unofficial herecura repo named archpaint. I like the uniform look.

I would prefer something darker for the panel because the fonts are not quite visible, I think.

Re: KDE/Plasma Screenshots

@kost147 - bespin do it all. Here is the config I'm using.
Save it to bespify.bespin then import and load in the bespin presets dialog.

Re: KDE/Plasma Screenshots

Would you mind sharing your xbar config? Where did you get the bespin-white icon theme? I can't seem to find it. Additionally, what's the dock you're using called? Absolutely love your setup!

Re: KDE/Plasma Screenshots

@Lopi - unfortunately I don't have the xbar config anymore.
You can get my bespin-icons-white pkg from here or use the following PKGBUILD to build them by yourself.
And as dock, on the bottom panel I'm running smooth tasks plasmoid.

I return after a long hiatus to both Arch Linux and the forums to share my current KDE4 set up. I must say, it is good to be unchained from Ubuntu/Fedora and their release cycles. ;o

Re: KDE/Plasma Screenshots

Here's my KDE. I found a Kwin tweak that removes window decorations when you maximize windows, it's pretty sweet and makes for a very minimal Firefox. Oh and yes, I also started using my Deviantart account. I've had it for two years now but until recently, I only used it to ask details. By the way, it's Kubuntu now.

Re: KDE/Plasma Screenshots

@stratovarius I assume that's conky on the right, yes? Nice setup btw.

@Unia seems like toolbars on the left are pretty popular these days. I really liked the kicker setup.
