Hello.
I want to install kde on my laptop and for some reason kde hangs right after login(doesn't remember the screen name)
I installed arch from scratch and after I boot the first time, I install kdebase and kde-i18n-da. Then kde hangs after login. If I install all of kde it boots without no problem.
What am I missing in the base install?

If u did install from kde minimal then you are suffering from a known issue of it not able to boot completely after login screen.
I suppose the problem to be similar to :

The solution proposed is to install a ttf font. For eg: ttf-dejavu
