linux3.1-4 upgrade crash my system during network access

After upgrade, My system crashed when using chromium/firefox or pacman -Syu or being connected remotely with ssh.
Anyone has the same issue?

So you should change the title of the thread for something like 'system broken since last pacman -Syu';
because your thread will erroneously appear in a search about linux 3.1-4 and network problem, without bringing any useful informations.
Try to transform useless noise into useful things, like details about your installation and log files, as described in the thread I linked you to above.

I had Network Manager do that to me in Mageia KDE.  Uninstalled Network Manager and use kppp there instead.  In Arch Xfce I use netcfg for LAN & WLAN and wvdial for WWAN.
