It's 13, from House M.D. Olivia Wilde
Righto! "Pretty lady from the future" is Olivia playing Quorra in publicity shot for Tron Legacy. I didn't really care for the film the first time, but something about it really resonated with me when I watched it again recently. I also like how Jeff Bridges seems more like The Dude than Flynn in this movie.

wow very nice and clean for a KDE desktop!
Thanks!

Thank you! ^^
It's conky - I'm using transset-df to make it a bit transparent.
Here's the according .conkyrc:
GistHow did you make the pager work Or maybe its because Im not running openBox, but xmonad?
I'm sorry for the late answer - I'm using bbpager as pager (so it's not part of conky, but I just overlayed it, so it looks alike ^^)

I can always spot edges from a mile off, because it's the only font I know that squeezes the 'w' and 'm' into 4px. It's kinda nice because it lets you make the font one px narrower, but the resulting characters are a little weird. I really like edges. I almost ended up using it. If I had, bitocra, would never have come into existance. If you look at the two fonts, you'll notice that most of the things that aren't inspired by OCR-A are inspired by edges, with a few design cues taken from the Ubuntu font ('f' and 't'). There are very few orginal ideas in bitocra; it's just a remix of my favorites (along with many great suggestions from users, of course).

First time I felt like what I have done with my laptop has been truly worthy of a screenshot. Conky is slightly modified from a forgotten source and my ratpoison is configured from bits and pieces of the ratpoison thread on these boards. Same goes for my .Xdefaults It's been a fun project for me and I'm still working, but the look and feel of it wont change for a while.

Nice screen! How are you liking ratpoison and why use that over stumpwm?

I heard of it first lol. I'm really starting to like it and I hear that stumpwm is very similar but a little more feature-rich and updated? The thing that scares me away from it is that I get lost when reading about how to configure stumpwm. Ratpoison is just easier for me and gives me no real problems. I might try stumpwm when I get bored and when I want to learn something new though! For now I'm just happy about my first trip away from a flashy kde+compiz GUI desktop.
@jgreen1tc: very nice!
Thanks!

thanks,
openbox theme : litestyle-caffeine, bottom bar tint2 and sidebar adeskbar;
conky : the standard config with some minor changes + a new haiku every two minutes using fortune (content from the fortune-mod-issa-haiku package which is in aur); just added this in my conkyrc :
${execi 120 fortune /usr/share/fortune/issa-haiku | fold -w30}
