Samba access to Android phone: 'Permission denied'

I mounted my android phone sdcard through wifi as samba share on my laptop.

I am using this line in fstab to mount it:

//ANDROID/sdcard /mnt/HTC cifs noauto,noatime,username=xxx,password=yyy,workgroup=WORKGROUP,ip=192.168.0.12,dir_mode=0777,file_mode=0777 0 0

I tried various replacements for dir_mode and file_mode, but nothing worked. I can view and copy files, but cannot make any changes, create folders or delete them. For example:

Error removing file: Permission denied

There is no write/read settings in the android phone application, so I am assuming the problem is in mounting parameters.
