System Hangs with Wifi (BCM4313) after upgrade (probably upower)

I have updated today my System, until this update the wifi/bluetooth was working well, after this update, that contained programs like upower, djvulibre, hplip and libdvdread, and after I restarted, my pc toke a long time to connect to the wireless, until this time the pc is unusable, very low and impossible to use the internet.

I don't know very well where the problem come from since I have problems to use my pc to found the problem source.

I would like to know if anyone else got the same problem ?

Informations :
I've disabled bcma to use my Wireless since kernel 3.0.
When I start my computer with the wireless off, there is no problem. But they start when I turn my wireless on.

Your card should use brcmsmac. You have to blacklist b43 as well. Check here for your device ID (look for it with lspci): http://linuxwireless.org/en/users/Drivers/b43#4313

Thank you for the reply but I have already blacklisted b43 and bcma, and the brcmsmac start up automaticly :S

How do you turn your wireless on? With a button or via software/commands?

Also, have you looked at logfiles? Maybe you see an error in there as well yourself. Since you know the time of the error (when you turn wireless on), that makes it easier to identify entries.

Back at home I didn't noticed the bug when connecting to the Wireless... But it was a diferent Wireless network with diferent protections... I have to teste tomorow again and see what the log says.

Same problem... It is simply impossible to use my system for more than 5minutes, or 30 seconds after using the network on a WPA2 Entreprise with PEAP (Eduroam Networks if you know what it is).... At home I didn't notice any bug kind of bug, but maybe I was just lucky yesterday...

My PC sometimes won't move after entering the DE (Gnome3, Kde, Xfce4 and event Openbox)... or it just won't shut down failing the SIGTERM and the SWAP Unmounting :S... I Just don't know what to do... I am trying to not use the propriatary drivers available in the aur, but I think it is the only good solution...

I have already created a bug report on bugs.archlinux.org, is there any other place (like a bugzilla just for this driver) so they could solve the problem and merge into the next kernel :S ?

I have tried to post a kernel log but the system hangs on start, when I disable the wireless from the bios the boot turn it on again but I will try.. I for now using the broadcom-wl module from aur that work very well (for now)...

No problem. They will surely help analysing now. Good you got the wl to work. Hope that goes well.
I had a look here in the forums for your chipset and there are a lot of open issues / people having problems with it.
Since it seems to be widely used in laptop models one would assume that the problems will get less over time.
But if your problems continue and you need it to work, perhaps you might consider buying a cheap usb-wifi-dongle until then.
Maybe a bad advice, but it depends how bad you need the wifi access and how much you can wait for the drivers of that fairly new chip to get better. I do such as well with a netbook, where the driver (VIA not broadcom for a change) got stuck as a stage module and ceased to function properly with the new kernels.

But for start: good luck with the broadcom-wl.
